Well, It has been a whirlwind of bookstores, radio stations and meeting my readers! What excitement My first stop was the Essence Music Festival and guess who I had the great honor of meeting - CORNEL WEST! I was soooo excited.
I have to send a shout out to all of of 'Nawlins -- ya'll sure do know how to party! And I have to say that I have not seen so many BIG beautiful black women in one place Now I know I got tits and ass but damn u women down there put me to shame!!!! I felt totally at home - I'm sure those petite women felt out of place!
Next stop was the town of Brotherly love - and I was shown plenty of that. Thank you Philly! Onto Baltimore and DC --- there are a lot of good lookin' brothers in those two towns -- I'm going to have to make it my business to get back there real soon.
Detroit was the next place I laid my head ----I was so busy --- shout out to The Shrine of the Black Madonna - thank you for receiving me -- I hope to come back and visit with you again real soon. On to Chicago - shi-town -- whooooo! Desiree held it down for me at her bookstore Afrocentric --- thank u girl and happy birthday again.
